Overview
A map-first whisky tracker: Scotland's distilleries on an interactive map, with overlays for details plus signed-in tasting notes (aroma, palate, finish, rating) and wishlists — exploration without leaving the map.
Challenge
Whisky fans juggled maps, separate distillery pages, and scattered tasting notes — and lost place context every click.
Approach
We kept search and distillery detail on the map, then added auth-backed dram logs and wishlists so trip planning and tasting records live together.
Outcome
An exploration flow where distilleries open in place and drinkers can track what they've tried — without bouncing across sites.
